We are so happy you have considered a visit to our church!
Our Sunday services take place at 9:30am every week, unless otherwise specified. Please check our calendar for exceptions.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
For Your Children
Larned UMC provides youth education and nursery services. Our nursery is open from 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM, and children up to age 5 may stay in the nursery during service or Adult Bible School time. The nursery is located downstairs.
About halfway through our church service, the children are invited to the front of the sanctuary to participate in the Children’s Moment. Here they share a short moment with our pastor, as a way for them to participate in Sunday Service at their own level.
We also have Youth Groups for those who are in Middle School and High School. These youth groups meet each week with our Youth Director, Kylie Stone. They are quite active as they plan fundraisers, trips and activities to suit everyone's interests.
For Adults
Larned UMC offers numerous ways to participate in the church; there is something for everyone, no matter what your age. From prayer groups to Bible Studies, from UMW to Young at Heart; we are sure that you will find something to suit your interests, lifestyle and schedule. Please check out our Education & Missions section for more information on the things we have to offer.
Before Sunday Services: Fellowship Time All the Time
We invite you to join us in the main entry way to visit before service for coffee, treats and fellowship. Take some time to read our bulletin boards, listing the many activities and ministry opportunities within our church, and in the community.
Please do not be reluctant to approach any one of us. If you feel the need for prayer or a shoulder to cry on, a quiet word or peaceful moment, we are here for you. This is God's church, and He is always present through us.

Our members are each unique in their own way, from our God given gifts (our talents) to our individual personal styles. We know that God made all of us unique, and everyone is a child of God. We are here to serve, but it is also our responsibility as Christians to provide you with the opportunity to serve in Christ's name too. Nothing would please us more!
