OPEN HEARTS, OPEN MINDS, OPEN DOORS
You've probably seen the TV commercials for our denomination. What do we mean by all of those "open's"? We mean that we want to welcome you, a visitor, into our midst. We want to be open to your concerns and needs. We want to welcome you without judging you as to whether you "fit" with us. We want to accompany you as you deal with your spiritual questions.
We do not apologize for believing that we have a good thing—we have the Scriptures, a knowledge of our Savior, and a commission from Him to spread the gospel. But we also recognize that we don't know everything, and we certainly want to be open to your unique insight.
Our ultimate hope is that you come to know Christ as Savior. We want to open doors that will help you experience that. In other words, we do not want to be a barrier or stumbling block on your spiritual journey; we want to embrace you and walk with you arm-in-arm.
